Day 190 – Row, Row, Row Your… er…. Bike Gently Down the Stream   5 comments

This scene is from the waterfront at Ganges Harbour on Salt Spring Island in the southern Gulf Islands in British Columbia. It shows a pretty interesting place to park a bike. A few hours after this picture, the tide had rolled in and this whole area was under water. Just to the right of this shot is a kayak rental shop and a long stretch of beach. Lots of room to put the bike and none of it underwater. Why the owner of the bike parked the bike in the middle of a stream is anyone’s guess. Maybe it’s an automatic bike-wash!

  1. Cool image! An automatic bike-wash sounds good to me… 😉

  2. Great reflection.

  3. I am with Brandon, great reflection!

  4. Strange situation makes interesting photo opportunity. Nice capture of the bike’s reflection.

  5. If that bike fell it might be more of a mud bath…
