Joshua Tree National Park

I know I never heard of a Joshua Tree before U2 released their 5th album. If you live in the American southwest, probably you’ve seen these trees by the side of the road. About an hour from Palm Springs is Joshua Tree National Park where you can find Joshua Trees aplenty. They usually grow in groups. Of course, it’s the desert, so while they are in groups, they are still pretty spread out as you can see. There are plenty of hikes in the park, but make sure you take lots of water … it’s dry out there.

  1. Fantastic capture of Joshua trees!

  2. Great use of the sun in this one, Mike. Ordinarily, the thought of those trees remind me of miserable field ops I did in Twentynine Palms (right near this park) years ago. They look much more pleasing here!

  3. abbsolutely wonderful photo, like it! Amazing!
