Poolside   17 comments

We’ve been to Palm Springs twice and each time we rented a house with a pool, not as much for the adults as for the kids. The only challenge is that sometimes it’s hard to separate the kids from the pool like say, for example, if you want to take them hiking in Joshua Tree National Park.

  1. Wow..!!!

  2. I love the shot of those goggles. Reminds me of when I was little and my parents would have to drag me out of the pool because I wouldn’t want to leave after five or six hours.

    Thanks for posting!

  3. awesome click : )!

  4. Reblogged this on widyaelfshawol.

  5. Good photo dude. I haven’t commented for a while but I really like this one.

  6. Love this shot, would be perfect for a holiday brochure 🙂

  7. Nice! Classic look, well done! Cheers!

  8. love the water!

  9. Depending on the age of your children, turn the hike into an ‘eye spy’ game. (eg first person to spot a ‘red flower’ or first person to spot a certain insect).
Love the shot of the goggles…..

    • You bet. The younger one likes eye spy. For years, we suspected she misunderstood the rules and never picked something to start with. She just agreed with one of our guesses once we’d gone on long enough and she liked what we chose.

  10. Great composition, Mike. Very nice use of DOF. I really like the contrasting texture and detail of all the elements in the shot. If I was there, I would have a hard time getting away from the pool too. 😉

  11. Cool shot!

  12. Great shot MIke…a warm pool would be nice right about now!
